Vincent Burch, Adviser - Norwich & London

Vincent Burch first began working as a mortgage broker in 2002 with The Mortgage Practise, before mortgages were regulated by MCOB, FSA and FCA. Vincent then Joined The Mortgage Times Ltd in 2003 as a Business Development Consultant for their Mortgage Processing business. The introduction of the Financial Services Authority regulating mortgage advice in 2004, left Mortgage Times to set up a Mortgage Adviser Network, where Vincent was responsible for recruiting advisers in London & Surrey. In addition, he also consulted on criteria for the Mortgage Lenders which Mortgage Times processed in house to all brokers.

In 2006, Vincent set up his own Directly Authorised mortgage processing business with some partners. Since the financial market collapsed he has returned full circle back to mortgage Advising, but is now based in lovely Norwich.

Vincent said – "My Training & Competency Supervisor summed me up best; as one of those strange people who have an enthusiasm and excitement for the world of mortgages"

He enjoys the usual family life and the occasional fishing trip or golf day.

Later joining with his brother, as part of Hamiltons Estate Agents, with his brother looking after the sales and lettings, whilst Ertash dealt with all mortgage enquiries.

He joined Vincent Burch in 2013, and is part of independent Mortgage advisors team who help clients with all of their Residential and commercial mortgage requirements.

Ertash has many interests; from enjoying long walks, cooking and importantly being a devoted husband and a father to his daughters.

Robert Field, Adviser - Surrey & London

Rob has extensive experience in buy to let, commercial & semi commercial, and international lending.

In addition to playing guitar and singing in a band, Rob is often to be found underwater with a scuba tank strapped to his back.

Louise Smith, Adviser - Norwich

Louise started her career in the financial services industry in 2006 working at Aviva, in their Life and Pensions department for their Heritage business. Starting off as a Specialist Claims Handler for Life Insurance products, she then moved into Pensions and became a "subject matter expert".

Whilst in this role, Louise started her qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute and once she had completed the required exams, she decided to continue and further her studies, to become a Mortgage Advisor.

Having passed her exams in August 2014, Louise joined Vincent Burch in December 2014.

In her spare time Louise enjoys going to gym, watching sports, holidays and spending time with friends and family.

Laura Dewing, Senior Mortgage Support - Office Based

Laura has been working in customer services for 7 years, taking a 7 month break to live in Turkey. Originally starting her career at a high end jewellers, Laura decided she needed to branch out of retail. She made the move into mortgages in 2012 and "hasn’t looked back since". Laura offers mortgage support for the advisors, her main role is to chase the lenders to speed up the mortgage offer stage, when in receipt of the formal mortgage offer, to then liaise with the solicitors, to help move things towards a successful completion.

In her spare time Laura is a sucker for binge watching TV Shows, however when she can prise herself away, she enjoys eating out, going to the cinema and of course a good ol' fashioned girls night on the tiles. She also loves spending time with her family and spoiling her nephew.
